On the last days off the companionable games of baseball commands first in this season took place.
In Kishinev commands have among themselves played: Pirates and Abator, has won with a difference in one spot enough difficult game Abator which is literally only for the last innings could pull out a victory over accounts 13:12 at Pirates.
In the second game which passed in Cojusna there were commands Cojusna against Hawks where the victory was gained with a capital command with the account 8:4.
From February, 28th till March, 4th, 2007 in Pekin (China) has passed the Congress of the International Federation of Baseball (IBAF). Among the primary goals of the given action presidential elections of the International Federation of Baseball (IBAF) appeared also - to it became Mr. Harvi Schiller (Harvey Schiller). The congress in Pekin passed at participation more than hundred delegates from all world are heads of the high rank of profile national structures.
The republic Moldova on the given Congress has been presented by Association of Baseball and Softball.
On February, 7th, 2007. The new president of National Federation of Baseball and Republic Moldova Softbola (NFBS RM) is selected. To it became Vadim Dermenzhi.
Its nominee at extraordinary assembly of members NFBS RM has been accepted practically unanimously. Earlier former president NFBS RM to Klimenko has declared Century impossibility to them to supervise over federation owing to employment by the basic professional work.
Except for it at assembly the decision on acceptance in structure NFBSRM of two baseball clubs - BIVOL (Cojusna) and ABATOR (Kishinev) was accepted.
General meeting has generated organizing committee which will coordinate work of federation and to be engaged in carrying out of competitions on all age categories.
After elections new president Vadim Dermenzhi has expressed hope that it will manage to unite efforts of all people, engaged baseball at us in the country and to draw the attention of the state and business of community to development of this kind of sports in Moldova.

Moldavian baseball players sum up a sports season 2005-2006. We shall
visit them and we learn, how places in it to year were distributed.
From the very beginning of the championship when Tiraspol the command of "KVINT" has agreed to participate in superiority of the country, it became clear, who in it to year will carry gold medals. Hopes of capital commands could not come true. Already after the first circle it became clear, that "KVINT" will not concede the first line, having in the active six victories.
Interesting struggle was developed for the second place. In last circle an opportunity to win silver awards was at capital "Scorpions" and "ABATOR", and also at Tiraspol "Kvint-SDISOR". The present drama occured between "ABATOR" and "Kvint-SDISOR". On results of the championship these two commands have typed identical quantity of glasses. Under the rules it was necessary to play additional game for the second place which has passed in Kishinev.
The spirit at both commands was fighting and desire to win though take away. Sportsmen held spectators in a pressure all game. Advantage in two spots with which owned "Abator" was minimal, and to leave in it did not turn out in any way. But nothing turned out and at a command of contenders which not only have not typed glasses, but also have managed to pass. The final account 8:5 in favour of Kishinev "Abator" has placed all points in the tournament table.
In the meantime, while one commands finished the championship, others have started draw of the Cup of the country. In capital stadium in 1/4 endings refer commands from village Cojusna and "Hawks" (Kishinev). In spite of the fact that for "Cojusna" played one of the best pitchers, provincials could not oppose with anything to a powerful attack kishenevs. Final score 4:0, and Hawks will battle in 1/2 endings.

The beginning of a season has not brought many sensations, except for loss of capital Scorpions to a command from Cojusna, and also defeats of the operating champion of the country «Abator» from "Hawks", results it is possible to consider all natural. However it does not mean, that already now it is possible to name the winner. It is a lot of applicants, but who from them will appear more strongly, we learn in the end of a season – the second circle is planned for September - October.
For now capital Club " ABATOR " on itself checks the validity of the statement what to keep a title more difficultly, than to win it.
