History of club Abator

It is possible to consider as the beginning of history of club ABATOR 1992. In it to year a baseball team of city of Kishinev has undertaken to sponsor the Kishinev meat-packing plant. Owing to the support rendered by this enterprise, club within three years has made a quantum leap in sports results. In 1993 baseball club ABATOR became the winner in draw of the Cup of the European Association of Baseball in group "B".  In 1992 and to 1993 BC ABATOR took part in very representative tournament in the city of La Rochelle (France) where except for us national modular England acted, France and Belgium. In both cases the team borrowed last places, having played thus at rather decent level. So, in 1993 ABATOR has lost the modular France which have become by the winner of tournament, with account 9-10 in additional inning.  Since 1995, because of problems with financing the team has ceased to train on a regular basis and took part in tournaments only off and on.  In same to year the basic attention in our club began to be given children's and youthful baseball. Team ABATOR took part in many tournaments, as in Moldova, and abroad. For these years we played in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary. It is possible to consider as the highest success of children's teams ABATOR the third place on tournament in the city of Nettuno (Italy) where our team has beaten very strong team Nettuno Yankee.  In 2001-2002 the team «ABATOR» became the Champion of Moldova in the National Championship spent by Association of Baseball and Republic Moldova Softballs.  In 2003 the adult team «ABATOR» has taken the third place in the Incorporated Championship of Moldova, junior has won Superiority, and cadets became the third.  In 2004 the adult team «ABATOR» has taken the second place in the Incorporated Championship of Moldova.  In 2005 BC «ABATOR» became the owner of gold medals of the National Championship.  In 2006 BC «ABATOR» became the owner of silver medals of the National Championship, thus in individual nominations a rank of "the Most useful player", "the Best pitcher" and "the Most active player in an attack" have got to players BC «ABATOR».  For today Baseball Club "ABATOR" is children's, cadet, junior and an adult team.
